Frank has certainly gone to a very high level of detail on this fantastic looking Ute. This is just one of a few cars on the go so I hope to work with Frank again in the future. Keep an eye out for it in Street Fords Magazine.

Daniel’s Holden Panel Van is a little different riding on spoked 20s. The candy red paint really thrives in the sun. Look out for a feature in Xtreme Holdens Magazine.

From the moment I saw the preview this movie intrigued me….well what a ripper.

Seriously this is the BEST movie I’ve seen this year. It’s not often I walk out of the a movie and think, I can’t really fault that? It’s shot in documentary style and yes it does lack initial character development but so many alien movies start off too slow where this doesn’t.

Don’t expect your typical BS Hollywood tripe special effects sci-fi movie with no story line and a shit ending because that’s exactly what it’s not. This movie – while the CGI was top notch it was refreshing to see a deep and dramatic storyline. It’s sort of split in two and starts off a little comical but ends on a very serious note.

In short the story line revolves around an extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology.

On another note, don’t take young kids as there’s a lot of real violence and plenty of lifelike gore where the blood dries brown not pink.

These videos are somewhat older now but I still really like them so I thought they were worth a post here. Some tough cars and bikes feature in them.

Photos after dark

The last few years has seen a lot of automotive static photography performed at night. Afterall there is always a vaccant car park somewhere and digital cameras being so popular these days it’s easy to experiment. I have to admit I have ahardly ever tried it myself but I guess a rainy night is the perfect time to change all that.

I have taken a few photos of late of Australian and American model Chryster’s and Plymouth’s. Here’s a few very different style of cars that all run under the same banner so to speak.

Sue’s Plymouth ground up rebuild.

Andrew’s 10-second Centura 360ci small block.

Sean’s 300D is extremely rare and was the fastest car in America of it’s time during the late 1950′s. It’s powered by a 396ci engine complete with dual 4-barrel carbies.
